Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show off on never-ending holiday

Yeah, we get it, Cristiano Ronaldo was part of the UEFA Nations League winning team, he can put his feet up.

But this never-ending holiday the footballer appears to be on is just having a laugh now as he posts from another day in paradise.

While we slog it out in the humid heat of London, plugging away in our offices.

We get it, Ronaldo is living the life. Like, really, really living the life.

The Juventus football player is currently sunning himself in the south of France along with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, and eldest son Cristiano Jr.

After taking advantage of the outdoor shower of his megayacht this week, making out with his girlfriend, and posing with his son, now the sportsman is just showing off his 10-pack with a mate.

Taking some time out from doing laps of the St Tropez waters, the 34-year-old sat on a deck chair alongside fellow footballer Miguel José Paixão dos Santos and lapped up that Mediterranean sunshine.

Just in case we weren’t aware he was having a whale of a time, he captioned the shot: ‘Enjoying the vacation’.

Yeah, we bet you are buddy.

It comes after the guy won pretty much all the humblebrag points as he shared a bunch of images that would give even the Rich Kids Of Instagram holiday envy.

‘Holidays with my family in France Riviera,’ he wrote over the weekend. ‘Enjoy the views.’

Georgina was similarly loving the sunshine on that back deck as she shared a bunch of sunbathing shots to the social media platform.

Following his playful display on the back of the boat with young Cristiano, nine, he relaxed alongside his paramour in the yacht’s hot tub with the gorgeous views of the French Riviera behind them.

Georgina, 25, has her arms affectionately wrapped around the footballer as they shared a kiss.

He sweetly captioned the image: ‘Amore mio.’

Cristiano and Georgina have been dating since 2016 and share one-year-old daughter Alana, while the sports star is also father to twins, Eva and Mateo, two, via a surrogate.

Elsewhere, we’re just living vicariously.

What Is Cristiano Ronaldo’s Net Worth?

Americans may not be the most knowledgeable about international soccer, but there are a few exceptions to that rule – notably, the rare superstar players that transcend the sport. And there’s no better example of that in this year’s tournament than Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo may not make the most money in the sport (salary-wise he’s behind Lionel Messi and Neymar, and with endorsement money added in, he’s still slightly behind Messi), but he is undeniably the face of the sport. An athletic phenomenon since he was a teenager, Ronaldo, now 34, is as much a brand as an athlete. He’s a soccer star, entrepreneur and social media juggernaut all at once, the epitome of what it means to be a “celebrity” today.

That celebrity, in addition to bringing him adoration and controversy across the globe, has also netted Ronaldo incredible wealth. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the highest-paid celebrities in the world. Combined, his current salary and endorsement deals combine to pay him $109 million. That ranks Ronaldo second in the list of highest-paid athletes in the world. How much is he worth?

What Is Cristiano Ronaldo’s Net Worth?

Celebrity Net Worth estimates Ronaldo’s net worth at around $450 million. Unsurprisingly, the majority of that comes from his nearly two decades of playing soccer professionally. But there’s far more to his riches than that.

Cristiano Ronaldo Salary & Career

Ronaldo’s career in the sport started in his home country of Portugal. He made his first appearance playing for Sporting CP in the Premeira Liga in 2002 – when he was just 17 years old. He wasn’t there long, though, his talent too tantalizing for larger leagues to not notice, and by 2003, Manchester United of the Premiere League acquired him.

Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United

Ronaldo’s tenure with Manchester United was filled with turmoil, accusations of selfishness, and demands for a transfer. But that tenure also established him as a force to be reckoned with in the league. An immediate sensation, Ronaldo was paid handsomely for his job, and by 2008 he was making £120,000 per week – nearly $160,000 in current U.S. dollars.

Toward the end of his run, however, it was apparent that Ronaldo, a forward, wanted to leave to play with Real Madrid, in Spain’s La Liga. After the 2008-09 season, he made that a reality.

Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid

Real Madrid spent £80 million (over $106 million) to acquire Ronaldo and immediately signed him to a hefty contract. His salary the first year was a nice increase up to £183,000 (over $243,000) per week.

His play managed to improve on the already high quality with Madrid, and he went from star to icon. His Real Madrid teams have won the UEFA Champions League four times, and to date he has 1.16 goals per game in his tenure. Ronaldo has signed multiple contract extensions with the team, the latest coming in 2016 with the intent of keeping him around through 2021. This averages $50 million a year for him.

Cristiano Ronaldo Juventus

On July 10th, 2018, it was announced that Ronaldo was transferring from Real Madrid to Juventus in the Italian Serie A league. Juventus’s fee for the transfer was reportedly €100 million.

Ronaldo’s first season with Juventus was a successful one. Scoring 21 goals on the season and throwing in 8 assists as well, Ronaldo helped Juventus win the Serie A title. It was Juventus’ 35th league championship in its lengthy existence, and its 8th consecutive Serie A championship.

Cristiano Ronaldo World Cup & International

Ronaldo’s play outside of Real Madrid comes as a key member (and the captain) of the Portugal national team. Each Portugal team Ronaldo has played for has qualified for the World Cup, with their most notable appearance being a surprise run in 2006 that took them all the way to the semi-finals. Portugal recently advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2018 World Cup. After Ronaldo scored a hat trick that helped them tie with Spain 3-3, he became one of just 4 players to score in 4 World Cups. After a 1-0 victory against Morocco – where, again, Ronaldo was the lone scorer for Portugal – and a 1-1 tie against Iran, the team was set to face Uruguay in the next round.

His Portugal team has also qualified each time for another tournament that occurs every four years, the UEFA European Championship. And though they have yet to win a World Cup, in 2016 a wild finish led Portugal to their first ever European Championship victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo Investments

Cristiano Ronaldo also fancies himself a businessman, and as such has become interested in furthering his wealth via investments. A notable one came in 2015, when Ronaldo invested $40 million into multiple hotels being developed by the Pestana Hotel Group, which would have his “CR7” brand attached. Currently, there are two open – Pestana CR7 Lisbon and Pestana CR7 Funchal.

Two years later, as an expansion of his brand, Ronaldo purchased a majority stake in Portuguese digital brand agency Thing Pink. His intent was to use Thing Pink to launch 7LEGEND, a brand for launching his own tech products.

Cristiano Ronaldo Endorsements

Ronaldo has 129 million followers on Instagram. His official Facebook page is followed by more than 120 million and liked by 122 million. His tweets are seen by 73.7 million followers. Regardless of your thoughts on the man, he has a worldwide following unparalleled by any other athlete. That’s pretty enticing to brands who want their name out there.

His biggest endorsement is easily Nike. The apparel company first signed Ronaldo in 2003, and clearly had no regrets about the decision; not only is he still with them, but in 2016, he became the third ever athlete signed by Nike to a lifetime deal, worth an astonishing $1 billion. The other two? NBA superstars Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

It’s far from his only endorsement, though. He’s a long-time endorser of Tag Heuer’s watches, Herbalife nutritional products, and even attaches his name to the popular mobile game Cristiano Ronaldo Kick’n’Run.

Cristiano Ronaldo House

Ronaldo isn’t just an obscenely wealthy figure – he’s a family man with a girlfriend and 4 young children. So it shouldn’t come as any surprise that the footballer has a massive house.

Located in La Finca, an area of Spain’s Pozuelo de Alarcón municipality in Madrid, Ronaldo’s luxurious mansion cost £4.8 million, or over $6.3 million. At 8,600 square feet, the house has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Among the impressive amenities for this house are:

  • Large nursery for his 3 youngest children
  • Outdoor and indoor swimming pools
  • Fully-equipped gym
  • Large garden
  • Trophy cabinet

And for anyone interested in seeing these, have no fear; Ronaldo has plenty of Instagram pictures highlighting the house.

Cristiano Ronaldo Cars

Like so many of the richest men in the world, Ronaldo also loves his cars, and he can afford some of the most expensive models from some of the most luxurious brands. One of his more recent purchases was a Bugatti Chiron, a sleek car worth $3 million.

That’s not his only elite model. Ronaldo has a Rolls-Royce Phantom, Lamborghini Aventador, and three different Ferraris – the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the Ferrari F430 and the Ferrari 599 GTO. Imagine being able to own one Ferrari, no less 3.

Cristiano Ronaldo Taxes

Of course, having all that money doesn’t mean you’re always great with it. Just before Portugal’s first game in the 2018 World Cup, it was announced that Ronaldo had reached an agreement with tax authorities in Spain after being accused of tax evasion, an allegation he and his representation have denied. In the agreement, Ronaldo will pay authorities $21.8 million in fines and serve a suspended two-year sentence. However, Spanish law dictates that a first offense that carries a punishment of two years or less can be served as probation, and it is unlikely that Ronaldo will serve actual prison time.

David Beckham – Wife, Children & Age

Soccer great David Beckham has played for Manchester United, England, Real Madrid and the L.A. Galaxy. He is married to Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh from the Spice Girls.

Who Is David Beckham?

Soccer star David Beckham was born on May 2, 1975, in London, England. A phenom almost from the moment he could first kick a soccer ball, Beckham began playing for Manchester United, England’s legendary soccer team, at age 18, and was a starter by age 20. In 2007, he signed a five-year, $250 million contract with the L.A. Galaxy. In May 2013, he announced plans to retire.

Wife and Family

Beckham has been married to Victoria Adams (of Spice Girls fame) since 1999. The couple has four children: three sons (Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz) and one daughter (Harper).

World-Wide Star for Manchester United

Beckham wasted little time in making a splash on the English soccer landscape. The talented goal scorer was named the Professional Footballers’ Association Young Player of the Year in 1997. A year later, he was one of the leading faces of England’s World Cup team.

Marriage to Victoria Beckham

His bravado and good looks offered up plenty of off-field potential, too. In 1998, Beckham, who’d already signed a deal with Adidas, netted $13 million in endorsement deals. The Beckham brand only enhanced in value when he met Victoria Adams, also known as “Posh Spice” of the Spice Girls, in 1997. The two quickly fell in love, and on March 4, 1999, they had their first child, a son they named Brooklyn Joseph. Two months later, Beckham and Victoria tied the knot at a lavish $800,000 wedding at a castle outside of Dublin, Ireland.

On the field, Beckham didn’t miss a beat. In 1999 he led Manchester United to the Premier League title, the FA Cup championship, and the Champions League title. Thanks to a last-minute free kick against Greece in 2001, England qualified for the 2002 World Cup. That same year, Beckham signed a three-year $22 million contract to remain with Manchester United.

But Beckham’s time with United proved to be shorter than anyone thought. In 2003 he was acquired by Real Madrid in a stunner of a deal that brought to light Beckham’s growing rift with Manchester’s manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Spanish soccer fans were thrilled to have their archrival join their team. Americans, meanwhile, were just getting to know him with the release of the movie, Bend It Like Beckham (2002), a delightful movie that tells the story of a young girl who bucks her family’s traditional ways, and falls in love with English soccer.

Moving to the L.A. Galaxy

America’s fascination with Beckham and his decade of dominance culminated in 2007, when the soccer great moved across the Atlantic to sign a reported five-year, $250 million deal with the L.A. Galaxy. The relocation was as much about giving Victoria Beckham’s career a boost (she helped drive the decision to move to the States) as it was to give America’s Major League Soccer a shot in the arm. Within 48 hours of the signing, the Galaxy sold more than 5,000 season tickets.

Beckham’s career since moving to the United States, however, has been a rocky one. He’s been beset by injuries, spraining a knee ligament his first season in L.A., and later missed out on a chance to play in the 2010 World Cup because of an Achilles tendon injury.

In July 2011, he and wife Victoria Beckham, who already had three boys together (Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz), welcomed a daughter, Harper Seven, into their family.

In 2012 Beckham furthered his success by venturing into a new commercial endeavor, starting an underwear line for the company H&M. As part of Beckham’s marketing campaign with H&M, six 10-foot statues of the soccer star in his underwear were installed in New York City; others were installed in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

On May 16, 2013 — just days after winning a title with French club Paris Saint-Germain — the 38-year-old Beckham announced that he would be retiring at the end of the 2013 season, ending his 21-year soccer career.

“I wouldn’t have achieved what I have done today without my family. I’m grateful for my parents’ sacrifice, which made me realize my dreams,” Beckham said in a statement. “I owe everything to Victoria and the kids, who have given me the inspiration and support to play at the highest level for such a long period… If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over 100 times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realized those dreams.”

By 2013, Beckham had become credited as England’s wealthiest sportsman, reportedly earning more than $46 million annually. The following year Beckham announced plans — along with fellow investors — to expand the Major League Soccer franchise with a new team in Miami.

Beckham has been involved in numerous charity work over the years, most notably serving as a UNICEF UK ambassador in the arena of children and sports development.

Early Years

Born on May 2, 1975, in Leytonstone, London, England, to parents Ted Beckham, an appliance repairman, and his wife Sandra, a hair stylist, David Beckham was the family’s only son. A middle child between two sisters, Beckham grew up with parents and siblings who were committed fans of Manchester United, England’s legendary soccer franchise.

At an early age, Beckham showed his own promise as a footballer, winning the coveted Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools National Skills competition at 11 years old. His talent soon caught the notice of Manchester United team officials, who asked him to try out for the club’s youth league. By the age of 16, Beckham had left home and was playing for United’s training division. Two years later he made the club, and by 1995, he was a full-time starter.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Serie A MVP award for the 2018-19 season, his first in the Italian top division.

Per Football Italia, he won the award―calculated via statistics―thanks to his 22 goals and 11 assists in 33 matches across all domestic competitions. The award is an official distinction from the league, with Ernst & Young putting the list together using data from Opta Sports and Netco Sports.

Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Inter Milan’s Samir Handanovic, Sampdoria’s Fabio Quagliarella and AS Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo were the other winners, the latter being voted Best Young Player and the others picking up the positional awards.

ESPN FC’s James Horncastle was not impressed with some of the picks:

James Horncastle @JamesHorncastle

Ronaldo to be given the new Serie A MVP award before Juventus’ game against Atalanta. Handanovic best GK, Koulibaly best defender, Milinkovic Savic best midfielder, Quagliarella best attacker, Zaniolo best young player. I have an issue with more than one of those awardees

Neither was Serie A writer Adam Digby, who thought the decision to use statistics resulted in some odd choices:

Adam Digby @Adz77

Before everyone complains about these Serie A awards, please note they’re handed out based entirely on stats. The bizarre winners reflect the fact there’s no effort gone into them whatsoever

Ronaldo lost out on the award for best forward to Quagliarella, who has scored 26 goals and is likely to finish as this year’s top scorer.

Handanovic has been a key man for Inter, playing a vital role in the team’s push for a UEFA Champions League ticket. With two matches left to play, the Nerazzurri are in third place in the standings, four points ahead of AC Milan and AS Roma and one ahead of Atalanta.

Koulibaly has been among Serie A’s best defenders for years, but Napoli only have the third-best defence in the league this season, behind Juventus and Inter. Zaniolo’s award for the Best Young Player also wasn’t a surprise after the breakout season he has had.

The oddest pick was undoubtedly Milinkovic-Savic, who regressed tremendously compared to last season. The Serbian has so far scored four goals and added three assists in the 2018-19 Serie A campaign after bagging 12 goals last season.

Serie A writer David Amoyal couldn’t believe he got the nod and also thought Salvatore Sirigu or Alessio Cragno of Torino and Cagliari, respectively, should have beaten Handanovic to the goalkeeper award:

David Amoyal @DavidAmoyal

I’m the biggest Milinkovic Savic fanboy but cannot defend at all him being named best midfielder in Serie A this season. To me both Cragno & Sirigu were vastly superior to Handanovic too

Ronaldo’s MVP award will also raise a few eyebrows, but not because he’s undeserving. Lega Serie A decided to include stats from the Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup, even though only two teams―Juventus and AC Milan―played in the latter.

If only Serie A stats had counted, the Portugal international would have finished behind Quagliarella, who recorded the same amount of assists―eight―and five more goals.

Juventus will play two more matches this season, against Atalanta on Sunday and Sampdoria on the final matchday.

Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly paid staff at his £7,000-per-night hotel in Greece a whopping £18,000 tip for keeping paparrazzi away during his stay.

Ronaldo has been enjoying his summer holidays with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his four children, and recently stayed at the five-star Westin Resort, Costa Navarino, for a second consecutive year.

No pictures emerged of the family during their stay and Spanish newspaper AS report that Ronaldo was so happy about this that he left the hotel workers a £18,000 (€20,000) tip for their service, particularly for keeping the paparazzi away.

Rooms at the Westin resort have unobstructed views of the Ionian Sea and individual infinity pools, and there are two golf courses to play.

Having soaked up the Grecian sun, Ronaldo and his family are continuing their holidays on a super-yacht in the French Riviera.

He has four children: Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr, 9, twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 2, and baby Alana, 1.

Ronaldo has also been pictured hanging out with basketball legend Michael Jordan during his break.

He enjoyed a fine debut campaign at Juventus, scoring 28 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions.

As well as the Serie A title the club also won the Italian Super Cup, while Ronaldo added the Nations League crown with Portugal to his trophy cabinet at the end of the season.

Ronaldo, his country’s highest scorer with 88 goals and most-capped player with 158 appearances, scored a hat-trick to see off Switzerland in the semi-finals, before a 1-0 win over Holland in the final.

Cristiano Ronaldo is living the life on board swanky megayacht

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is loving life sick on board one swanky megayacht as he treated his family to a holiday in St Tropez.

Taking in the watery sights of the open sea on Sunday, the Juventis player and his son Cristiano Jr were quite the pair as they larked about the place.

After enjoying a jet-skiing session in the surf, the two employed a little ‘like father like son’ antics as they laughed and posed on the back of the boat.

Little Cristiano was a chip off the old block as he similarly flexed his muscles next to his athlete father, who may have a few six-packs ahead of his nine-year-old protégé yet.

It’s early days, though, we suppose. He got a head start.

The star’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez appeared to be keeping things boat-side, as she sunbaked on the deck and looked on.

Wearing a black bikini, the model – who is mother to Cristiano’s youngest daughter Alana, one – looked totally at home while the boys played silly in the water.

At one stage she had eyes for her partner, as Cristiano – who clearly didn’t mind the onlookers who were enjoying their display – expertly dived into the blue water.

He’s definitely appearing to be enjoying his time off after Portugal’s UEFA Nations League win earlier this month and who can blame him?

Taking to Instagram to pretty much win all the humblebrag points, the 34-year-old (who also has twins Eva and Mateo, two) shared a bunch of images that would give even the Rich Kids Of Instagram holiday envy.

‘Holidays with my family in France Riviera,’ he wrote. ‘Enjoy the views.’

Georgina was similarly loving the sunshine on that back deck as she shared a bunch of sunbathing shots to the social media platform.

Ah, so this is how the other half live, eh?

She too deserves a break, after supporting her partner throughout the Nations League as she was seen cheering on her man from a private box.

More: Cristiano Ronaldo

His national team Portugal went on to win the title against Netherlands with a final score of 1-0.

We’re not saying they won because Georgina was there, but…
